Marjoram & Glynn have been married for 30 years in someone's idea of suburban bliss. Useless around the house at the best of times, when Glynn finally pops his clogs Margie can move on. Which is why it's such a shock when he comes back to life.
Unable to move on with her undead husband cluttering up the house, Margie does what any sensible woman would: puts him to work, with unexpected results.
Starring the inimitable Sue Johnston (Downton Abbey) and David Schofield (Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator et al) 'Caring for the Recently Deceased' is Marjoram’s story of dealing with the realities of living with the undead. She discovers that the re-animated are surprisingly helpful when given the proper direction, and that having the perfect lawn and all of the chores completed requires simply exercising a firm hand.
Dark and funny, 'Caring for the Recently Deceased' gives a new spin on the idea of suburban hell.
